The following is an interview Karyn ******* conducted on 23.5.09 by Michael Borusiewicz.

Michael: How well did you know Luke Karyn?
Karyn: Reasonably well. I first saw him when he was a couple of weeks old. I went to your house in Hoare St. after the baby had been brought home from hospital. I had known Michael and Jacky for some time before this.

Michael: What did you think of Luke's Dad as a father?
Karyn: Perfectly competent. You were a father, you just get along with it. I heard that after the fire at Hoare St.

A Life Lived In Fear Of Child Protection Industry Is A Life Half Lived

A link on the Facebook Group today came through with this petition. It says the petition has received one thousand signatures. When you look at the time since this legislation was introduced to the US to legalize kidnapping of children from their biological family, sixteen years have passed. Indeed thirteen years have passed since Senator Nancy Schaefer was murdered after she was pushing for DSS reform.

We are on a treadmill and we are like mice being breed for the purposes of this industry.

I want to thank you all for being there for me.

I want to thank you all for being there for me. I have never had this type of support from family, ever, & my ex who is the father of my child has given up. He tells me to forget about it. He never wants to hear about it & cuts me off from talking about it.

I will NEVER forget about it. Iam plagued with these thoughts of extreme loss, shock, & trauma for the cruelty our child & I have experienced (my ex went through so much also). I miss my little boy with every second that goes by, I will never forget. As times goes by it just gets worse.

It's been 5 years now since the kidnap at birth & I

FIGHT CPS/CPS REFORM PETITION

Nationwide, each State has it's own State run agencies whose main purpose is to protect and monitor abused children. While their primary role is to find abused children and place them into protective environments, the reality is that the current systems in place are only finding a small percentage of truly abused children, children in true danger and in imminent need of immediate removal from their home. Unfortunately, the remainder of the amount of children who end up in foster care are from families where abuse may have never been present at all upon the said child.

Child Welfare Benchmarks Sought

By Paul Hammel
WORLD-HERALD BUREAU

LINCOLN — In the wake of a scathing audit of the state's child welfare system, two lawmakers are trying to take the guesswork out of monitoring the controversial reform program for taking care of Nebraska's most vulnerable children.

The state senators say benchmarks must be established so it can be easily determined if the privatization of child welfare is achieving its objectives.

So far, reform has fallen far short of its main goal — to slash the number

on Mon, 03/12/2012 - 15:20

The New South Wales Community Services Minister has confirmed the family of a two-year-old girl who died on the state's central coast last weekend was known to her department.

Tanilla Warrick-Deaves died at Wyong Hospital early on Saturday morning, after a relative found the girl with severe injuries at her Watanobbi home.

Earlier this week police said an autopsy had confirmed the girl did not die from natural causes, and appealed for information.

The girl was living with her mother, her mother's partner and siblings.

Community Services Minister Pru Goward says she is aware of a report
