Have you had your baby removed at birth from the hospital by FACS NSW (Families and Children Services New South Wales). Please come forward with your story.....

I spoke with FIN NSW this morning and they introduced me to Luke’s Army web site. I have accessed your site and I’m sorry to hear about  your loss of young Luke- he looked like a beautiful boy and  full of life.

I am a midwife and student researcher  interested in learning  from people  involved in the assumption of care (AOC)  process where  newborn babies are  removed from their mothers by child protection case

FACS NSW Hotline supervisors failed test

Many caseworkers are employed as senior supervisors at the state's child protection hotline despite having failed the application process for the role.

Internal documents obtained by Fairfax Media show that seven of the 14 caseworkers who failed to achieve a pass when they applied for the role of team leader were already acting in the more senior position.

Give babies to foster parents who want to adopt them says PM

Babies will be placed with foster families who want to adopt them under plans to reduce the disruption to children in care.

It currently takes over two years for a child to be adopted, with babies passed between foster parents and carers before they finally find a permanent home.

Child experts have warned that severe upheavals early in life are emotionally and mentally damaging for youngsters.

Now David Cameron has said he is determined to speed up the adoption process.

DUE PROCESS 101…

No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without Due Process of LAW. It doesn’t say, no person “accept…” It simply states… NO PERSON! This due process requirement is the lynchpin of the entire constitution. From it comes the presumption of innocence, that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
