Hi Guys,

I am wanting to talk about First Contact with Child Safety, I am going to show you what is exactly is and give relevant information on this particular topic. Keep in mind the information can vary from different states. I am going by QLD cause that's my state.

Foster child's letter of concern over Family Ties cuts raised in legislature

Opposition Leader Olive Crane again raised concerns Friday over government’s decision to lay off child and family service workers, tabling a letter from a Grade 10 student in foster care who says this will have a negative impact on her.

 During question period Friday, Crane read from the letter, which does not contain the student’s name due to child protection laws.

After stumbling across your page on facebook, it showed me that i'm not alone in fighting this horrific battle against DoCS. I had the horrible knock on my door back in 2008 just months after my 5th child was born. The case worker stated they were just following up on a report that was made when I was pregnant due to my stress levels. After telling them I was concerned as my daughter was born 8-weeks premature and had breathing difficulties they said they would get me linked with the right services.
