johnvel@telus.net August 25, 2011 An area most Politicians care not to contribute to due to depth of emotion it ensues and controversy involved is that of children who fall under the realm of service recipients from Child & Youth Services. It is a topic so taboo that even those who profess to be Advocates sometimes remain silent; out of fear that Government funding to its organizations may be compromised.

DoCS & JIRT Have Stolen my Daughter

Hey Michael. I was so gutted to hear about your son and have been following your story and the amazing work you are doing, My thoughts are with you.

I never thought in a million years I would be in the situation a lot of innocent families find themselves in. But now it is my turn to ask for help.

on August 12th 2014 my little girl was taken off my partner and I by JIRT from her daycare. She is 3 years old. JIRT wouldn't let me sign my daughter out of care unless we agreed to police interviews and to take my daughter to the hospital to be looked over.

The family of a 17-year-old girl who took her own life at a residential care home in Darwin say the Northern Territory Government failed in its duty of care to a ward of the state.

They say Maddy Downman did not receive adequate support for depression, and they feel being in care contributed to her suicide.
For four years until she took her own life Maddy had asked to leave state care and go home.
Both her mother and father told the ABC's 7.30 NT program they kept appealing to the NT Department of Children and

Wendy Harmer. Still employed by families s.a,

Not sure where other than Adelaide. Thanks Wendy for sticking me in a house on my own at 15, thanks for ignoring my pain and pleas that I didn't like living alone. Thanks for blaming me for the older men ( a quick note for you Wendy, 17 was and still is legal age of consent in s.a ) Thanks for again blaming me for having no family/friends. Thanks as well for making have so little of the basics required to live in a house. I'm still trying to understand why things like fridge, table, chairs, even just a stereo I wasn't worthy?

How a devoted mother with a loving middle-class family was forcibly separated from her son - with fatal consequences

Late morning, April 2003, and for the tenth time in two hours I called my cousin Pam’s mobile.

Again there was no answer, and I was beginning to worry. Earlier, I’d driven past her house and had considered stopping for a coffee — but it was very early, so I’d gone home.

Half an hour later, I’d called her mobile. Then her landline. Then I’d tried texting her. Nothing. For someone who always loved talking on the phone, it was unprecedented.

The NSW Department of Community Services in Orange

My ex wife has lost custody over 4 children, one of witch is my biological daughter, Jess witch I have 50% custody over.
The department of community services NSW child protection caseworker  from DoCS Orange failed to notify me until 3 weeks after the children were taken.
In this phone call the reason for taking so long to contact me was rather contradictory, at the start of the phone call I was told She had only just thought about it and should call me, then a little later she said they had tried to contact me with no avail,
then later in that same conversation I was told I was not
