Fight Child Protection Department Corruption:
Alex Alexandria Hill Marijuana Murdered Foster Care

Beautiful baby Alexandria Hill was removed from her parent’s custody because they naively admitted to Child Protective Services that they sometimes used marijuana at night, after Alex was asleep, to help them rest as well. Child Protective Services in Texas apparently felt that minor marijuana use was neglectful supervision, so she was removed from the custody of her devoted, loving parents and placed in foster care.

How a devoted mother with a loving middle-class family was forcibly separated from her son - with fatal consequences

Late morning, April 2003, and for the tenth time in two hours I called my cousin Pam’s mobile.

Again there was no answer, and I was beginning to worry. Earlier, I’d driven past her house and had considered stopping for a coffee — but it was very early, so I’d gone home.

Half an hour later, I’d called her mobile. Then her landline. Then I’d tried texting her. Nothing. For someone who always loved talking on the phone, it was unprecedented.
Proud of his mum: Jack today, with his

Woman seeks justice for granddaughter’s death

On the anniversary of what would have been her granddaughter’s second birthday, a grandmother from the Village of Warburg picketed outside the Leduc Provincial Court House on Nov. 23. Marilyn Koren’s granddaughter Delonna Sullivan was taken from her family in April 2010 and died in foster care less than a week later.

Koren has since dedicated her life to advocating for children illegally apprehended from their families and those that die while under the care of the provincial government.
“Had I known then what I know now… I would have grabbed Delonna and started marching down the road.

Babies account for one-third of all deaths of Alberta foster children

More than half of infants died in their sleep or due to prematurity, yet government has few policies to address these issues

Between January 1999 and June 2013, 18 babies in foster care died in their sleep. In at least six cases, records show the child’s foster parents employed “unsafe sleeping practices” such as co-sleeping, sleeping on unsafe surfaces, and having toys and blankets in a crib. These can increase the likelihood of sudden, unexpected infant deaths.

The names of the mother and child in this story have been changed to comply with an Alberta law that prohibits identifying children

Did this child die of natural causes?

It pains the family greatly to show this image of their darling son Jonas Stadden aged four who had Down's syndrome; he died in temporary respite foster “Care” on the 24th November 2013. They want him to be remembered as the beautiful, bubbly boy that he was. But they realise that it has to be shown and viewed by everyone, so that they may prevent the needless death of another families’ child.
People will be haunted, as the parents and their family are by his tragic state only four days before his death.
