When the government announced last month that Doncaster’s children’s services were to be outsourced to an independent trust, nobody in the sector was particularly surprised.

In fact, the move was widely predicted as soon as Professor Julian Le Grand – a health economist who favours more competition among public services – was asked to head up a review on possible ways forward

23 babies, four toddlers, one 5-year-old and three teenagers dead in six month - Department of Children's Services

There is little known about the 31 Tennessee children who died in the first six months of this year after the Department of Children's Services got involved in their cases.

The dead included 23 babies, four toddlers, one 5-year-old and three teenagers.

They died after suffering broken bones, drug exposure, asphyxia and drowning. One 2-year-old boy died in a Lincoln County home fire. A Lauderdale County newborn was drowned in a toilet. Some deaths remain unexplained.

The Department of Children's Services continues to withhold details about the children's lives and deaths and what steps the

Children were reportedly hurt at nearly a dozen Florida facilities.

They shaved him bald that first morning in 2008, put him in an orange jumpsuit and made him exercise past dark.

Through the night, as he slept on the floor, they forced him awake for more.

The sun had not yet risen over the Christian military home when Samson Lehman collapsed for the sixth time. Still, he said, they made him run.

The screaming, the endless exercise, it was all in the name of God, a necessary step at the Gateway Christian Military Academy on the path to righteousness.

So when Samson vomited, they threw him

Report links rash of abuse, state adoption policy flaws

A new state report blames shortcomings in state policy for a recent rash of severe abuse of adopted children, including lack of oversight of private adoption agencies, inadequate safety nets for catching potential abuse, and urgency to place the state's displaced and orphaned children in permanent homes.

The report, released Monday by the Severe Abuse of Adopted Children Committee, recommends a list of changes to improve the state's adoption system and protect children.

Twenty-eight committee members from the public and private adoption and child welfare fields reviewed 15 cases of severe

I feel the focus is often on some of the micro players instead of the global picture in attempting to understand how we as a nation came to be in our present situation regarding government control of family life.

In the end the power and money drive the entire mess.
Below is an article I wrote in 93, after doing extensive research following the loss of my two daughters.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Some children spending less time in foster care

Faster pace of moves draws concerns, and praise

The state Department of Social Services has stepped up the rate of moving long-term foster children back with their parents or to adoptive families by 50 percent in the past fiscal year, a trend that has drawn both praise and criticism.

DSS increased the number of foster children moving into permanent homes from 789 in 2010-11 to 1,184 in the 12-month cycle that ended June 30.

Nearly two-thirds of the children who left long-term foster care during the year went to adoptive families rather than being reunited with their biological family,

How to deal with court proceedings in regards of children’s removal by the social services
My recommendations for innovative way to deal with court proceedings in regards of children’s removal by the social services been rubber stamped by judges.
If you “dare” and listen my advice which are based 100% on the British law, and if any judge” dare” to abuse his/her judicial power and ignore the law, at least you have a solid argument for an appeal.
My recommendations will be in two parts.
PART 1, about parents facing allegations currently by the social services,
And part 2, for the parents who have lost their children after a final order.
