Adoption Bonuses: The Money Behind the Madness

Child "protection" is one of the biggest businesses in the country. We spend $12 billion a year on it.

The money goes to tens of thousands of a) state employees, b) collateral professionals, such as lawyers, court personnel, court investigators, evaluators and guardians, judges, and c) DSS contracted vendors such as counselors, therapists, more "evaluators", junk psychologists, residential facilities, foster parents, adoptive parents, MSPCC, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, YMCA, etc.

United Kingdom - The pro-lifers adopting 'spare' embryos created during IVF

For pro-lifers, America’s 650,000 or so ‘spare’ embryos – created during IVF and now in cold storage – merit the same rights as any child in need of loving care. Rob Blackhurst talks to some of the agencies and families deciding the fate of these ‘snowflake babies’.

In a low-rise office block in balmy southern California, the pastel walls are adorned with photographs of babies fresh from the labour ward – still wearing wrist tags and swaddled in hospital blankets – and a montage of elementary-school children with mops of blond hair.

UK Government steals record number of children to sell for adoption

Highest number of adoptions since 1992, reveal government figures

UK Government steals a record number of children to sell for adoption and consider this "hugely encouraging?" Surely what would be more encouraging would be the family unit not being attacked and crippled by predators who stand to make a fortune from the theft and sale of children in the UK.

Known Consequences of Separating Mother and Child at Birth

Adoption similar to a death

After their babies were taken mothers were left to get on with their lives as best they could, though it was known, at least as early as 1961 (Gough), that they would need to mourn their babies just as though they had lost them by death. This was acknowledged by Sister Borromeo in the Australian Journal of Social Work in 1968, and others wrote about the need for mothers to have support after their babies had been adopted, but this didn't happen.

The Baby Safe A Unique Way To Abandon Babies - Instead Of Dumping Them

Cape Town - A clinic is offering mothers who no longer want their babies a safe and anonymous way of handing over their little ones.

The Baby Safe is a non-profit organisation that has a unique way of getting moms to drop off their babies instead of dumping them.

“The safe itself is a mechanical box created by an engineer,” says the organisation’s Danielle Thomson.

“Once a baby is placed inside on the mattress, it magnetically seals shut and then through an installed sim card, it calls our on-call phone and two staff members immediately.

“We then fetch the baby within three minutes.”

Government launches national adoption gateway to combat problem

Note: Billions of dollars being lost by bad baby farming practices. Better fix that real quick, and hurry... steal some more kids.

More than 4 million people in England would consider adopting but are baffled by the system, concerned about continuing support and unsure about eligibility according to research.

The research appears to dispel the myths held by many professionals that there are simply not enough people in the country prepared to adopt.

The research, released by the government at the launch of its national “adoption

Councils plan to halve national shortfall of adoptive parents within a year

Council leaders say the proposals mean there is no need for the government to use the power, laid out in the current Children and Families Bill, to remove councils from finding adoptive parents.

Councils have countered the government’s threat to remove them from the process of finding adoptive parents by submitting proposals on how numbers could be increased by 50% within a year.

In a joint letter to children’s minister Edward Timpson, councillors, chief executives and directors of children’s services have outlined

Difficult time: Rae Whitbourne was forced to give up her son when she was 14 years old. Picture: BRENDAN FRANCIS

RAE Whitbourne can't recall the number of times she cried at the loss of her baby son, taken from her in one of the notorious forced adoptions when she was only 14.

Now, 68, the Gordonvale grandmother, is looking forward to the PM Julia Gillard's apology tomorrow for the hundreds of thousands of lives blighted by the policy.

"It will be helpful because it acknowledges that a lot of girls just like me didn't suffer in vain," Ms Whitbourne said.

Her boy, James, was taken from

More support for adopting parents

There were more than 4,000 children adopted in 2012

Parents adopting children in England are to be given extra support and a "more active role" in the adoption process, says the government.

Ministers want more adoptive parents to come forward to increase the number and speed of adoptions.

The plan would let approved would-be parents see the register of children waiting to be adopted.

The British Association for Adoption and Fostering "warmly welcomed" the proposed changes.
