Rick Santorum: Stop UN From Crushing Parental Rights

Once again the U.S. Senate is considering passing into law a very dangerous United Nations treaty that would threaten the tens of thousands of American families who care for disabled children. The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, or CRPD treaty, which has been rejected a number of times before, is expected to come before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee during the first week in June. This treaty should be unacceptable to all American families, and we must work to put an end to it.

The basic threat CRPD poses is that it could shift decisions about the health care

Nichole Cable Child Missing For Eighteen Days Now

Since 1971, seven Maine children reported missing have not been found

BANGOR, Maine — Dozens of children are reported missing every month in the state, but almost all are found or return on their own within a couple of days or even hours, Maine Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said Friday.

Only about once a decade does a child go missing for longer than a few days, he said.

Friday marked the fifth day since 15-year-old Nichole Cable was reported missing from her Glenburn home.

Where is the Line Between Adoption and Child Buying?

Where is the Line Between Adoption and Child Buying?

Adoption was once under the auspices of trained social workers who purported to have the best interests of children-in-need in their heart. Over the past several decades, however, American domestic infant and international adoption has become privatized and entrepreneurial. Only adoption from foster care remains in the hands of the state and unfortunately represents its own set of failures, abuses and funding driven corruption.

The difference between for- and not-for-profit adoption agencies is merely a tax status, though the later gives an illusion of a charitable organization.

Adoption push could break up families unnecessarily, peers warn

MICHAEL Gove’s drive to increase adoption rates could end up unnecessarily breaking up families, peers have warned.

Prioritising adoption over other forms of care could deprive grandparents and close family members of the opportunity to step in to bring children up when their birth parents are no longer able, they said.

The warning comes in a report into the Government’s adoption reforms by a special committee of peers chaired by Britain’s most senior authority on family law, Baroness Butler-Sloss, the former president of the High Court Family Division.

MCFD has been accusing me of being a drug addict
Hi, everyone. I want to apologize for being absent for so long. I also want to apologize profusely for the calls I have not yet returned. As you know I got the flu really bad, and for the past week have been dealing with MCFD. Here is an update for you.

As of March 1, 2013, me and Filicia won’t be able to have any contact at all, which means I won’t be able to see James either. I haven’t been allowed to see him since October 14, 2012.

All these months MCFD has been accusing me of being a drug addict, while the Social Worker, Donna Fraser, spread the word around the community

Report into Irish child deaths in State care 'a litany of shame'

Taoiseach Enda Kenny has described a highly critical report into the deaths of 196 young people who were in contact with the State's care services as a "litany of shame".

The report of the Independent Child Death Review group focuses on the deaths of young people in contact with the State’s child-protection services between 2000 and 2010.

Of the 196 deaths, some 112 died of non-natural causes such as drug overdoses, suicides, road incidents or unlawful killings.

“Ultimately and tragically the efforts to protect these children failed,” the report said.

Among the key findings are that:

“The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything—Albert Einstein

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Our family and the FitzPatrick family accept the fact that Kathleen Ganiere murdered our child, but Virginia Beach Department of Human Services (VBDHS), through indifference, apathy, and lack of action aided in the perpetuation of an environment that was unstable and hazardous for Braxton Taylor while in the supposed care of Kathleen Ganiere.
