The Night Before Christmas and CPS Came and Stole all of the Children

True story,

T'was the night before Christmas, the four children fast asleep,
The CPS were coming, their mother just wept!
five burly policemen soon broke down the door,
We've come for your children,we must take all four!
The CPS have told you,'keep perfectly calm'
your kids are at risk of 'emotional harm'
so struggling and kicking &and screaming with fright
four little children went off into the night!
The mother sat weeping, her children were lost,
Adoption the target, they don't count the cost!
They snatch newborn babies with never a smile,
each one an achievement,to add to their file......

state law in oregon is if you want to appeal *[or review for error]* a “threat of harm” disposition that was founded you must do it within 30 days. my question is there any way to appeal/ file for a review of that disposition after the thirty days? it has been over 6 months.. the person founded is not the parent if that makes a difference I dunno. I desperately need help finding the answer to this!
my answer is not found in oregon family service rule 413 -010-0745 or oregon law ors 418.005. many thanks for any responses.

CPS Fails to Report and Prevent a Child Abduction

on Fri, 05/25/2012 - 04:28

In January 2011 two Makielski children where illegally taken to the Dominican Republic by their mother, Maria Rivera-Estevez.  An existing court order is in place detailing custody, visitation, travel, and the U.S. as habitual residence for the children. The mother removed the children from Virginia and took them to the Dominican Republic without the father Robert Makielski’s authorization as required by the current custody order. The Culpeper Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court has ordered the mother to return to Virginia with the children, with which the mother has not complied.

Next step for abused children still evolving

on Tue, 05/22/2012 - 21:07

The number of children removed from abusive homes in Maine has declined more than 50 percent in the past decade, as the Department of Health and Human Services has pursued a policy of keeping children with parents unless they face physical abuse or serious neglect.

Note: You all need to pay very close attention to what is being said in this article. Believe it or not, over the last 10 years Maine has become a national model child welfare system, because they managed to cut the number of kids in foster care in half. I know they still suck at what they do.

4-year-old Texas girl taken from parents and heavily drugged by Child Protective Services

The parents of a 4-year-old girl are outraged after their daughter was placed under the care of Child Protective Services and then heavily medicated with psychotropic drugs.

Christina and David Harrison were heartbroken when Child Protective Services took away their daughter, Rachel, when she was only three. At the time, authorities suspended their parental rights after the child’s mother tested positive for cocaine, something she now says she heavily regrets.

County hands over $1 million dollars to family whose son was taken by Child Protective Services

on Mon, 05/21/2012 - 16:38

Kern County is handing over one million dollars to a family in the Weldon area for wrongfully taking their son out of their home in 2008. The dispute started between the child's school, South Fork Elementary School and parents over what their kid could eat. While the school can't comment on the case until the settlement is signed; attorneys on both sides are talking about the bigger issues being brought out by this case.

"They are relieved that the case is resolved, they are relieved that at least financially they are put back in a position where they were before this all happened," said Shawn

3 year old in CPS care overprescribed psychotropic drugs

on Mon, 05/21/2012 - 16:04

Here's 4-year-old Rachel Harrison before Child Protective Services took her away from her parents.

Once CPS takes over, you can see the drastic changes for yourself.

"And as a parent it's very hard to deal with because your baby's in trouble and you can't do anything to help," said Rachel's mother Christina Harrison.

Watch as the bubbly little girl starts looking more like some neglected waif while under CPS's care.

"She was never abused or neglected in any way except by CPS," said Debbie Flores, Rachel's grandmother.

In numerous court hearings CPS caseworkers would admit they had no reason
